About Me
My experience
I am a registered Nutritional Therapist and Yoga Teacher with 20 years of clinical experience. I’ve supported clients from around the world through online appointments for more than a decade, and before that ran busy clinics in Harley Street and Hatton Garden, London. I’m a full member of BANT and the CNHC, hold an honours degree in Biology, and have completed a Master Practitioner qualification in Eating Disorders with the National Centre for Eating Disorders.
I am the Senior Nutrition Lead at The Optimum Health Clinic, an award-winning integrative clinic specialising in fatigue conditions and nervous system dysregulation. For over 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of working within this dedicated and compassionate team, supporting clients with complex health challenges and helping them find renewed energy, balance, and confidence in their wellbeing.
Alongside my nutrition work, I am a fully certified teacher of Yoga Nidra, Iyengar, Yin, Well Women, Pregnancy, and Post-Natal yoga. Within these styles, I’ve extensively studied and taught postures, breathwork, mantra, and meditation. My teaching draws on trika yoga philosophy, seeing meditation as a practice of inner exploration to reconnect with our natural state of ease and wholeness.
I’ve also led classes, workshops, and retreats across the UK and abroad, run detox programmes, delivered nutrition seminars, and contributed to nutrient analysis reports and wellness publications. My corporate clients have included Pret A Manger, LabOrganic, Pure Package, The Anassa Hotel, Oxford University Press, JP Morgan, Move Your Frame, Bartlett Mitchell, and Harbour and Jones. I also work with The Nutrition Coach, helping clients achieve sustainable, holistic health through personalised and integrative guidance.
My Story
I’ve always been highly sensitive, and even as a child I could feel how my environment, diet, and emotions affected my body. It made sense for me to turn to nutrition and lifestyle practices to bring my body into balance. I first discovered the true power of food and yoga as a teenager, where these disciplines transformed my ongoing health issues. This sparked my fascination with the human body and my desire to support others as a nutritional therapist and yoga teacher.
My journey took a transformative turn though when I unexpectedly developed post-viral fatigue. Despite practicing everything I had learnt, including eating well, meditating, and practicing yoga daily, I found myself burnt out with low energy, brain fog, aches, nausea, and sore throats. Doctors had no answers, yet I felt so unwell. It was a lightbulb moment when I realised how disconnected I had become from my body. I had been following rules rather than listening to my body cues and signals.
As I tuned in, I knew that nutrition and yoga were still my way out of illness, but there needed to be a new approach. I ‘undid’ a lot of what I had learnt during this time. I began listening to my body’s cues, following its rhythms, and letting go of rigid rules. Gradually, my fatigue and symptoms resolved, and I reached a deeper level of health.
This experience has deepened my compassion for my clients and profoundly shaped my work. I understand how disconnection from the body and inner wisdom can exacerbate suffering, and I see how traditional health advice can sometimes create more stress than support. My approach now focuses on helping clients listen deeply to their bodies, reconnect with themselves, and make empowered, personalised choices for lasting wellbeing.
